The United Nations ESCAP East and North-East Asia Office and the Institute for Development and Human Security (IDHS) at Ewha Womans University will co-host the “2017 International Student Writing Competition on Girls’ Health” on 14 November, 2017 to raise awareness of the importance of girls’ health worldwide and provide creative solutions for improving the well-being of girls.

The upcoming event will include presentation by 9 finalists (individual or team) and a poster session for other participants. During a roundtable session, speakers from governments, NGOs, academia, international organizations, as well as a student representative will present some research and case studies related to girls’ health problems and provide practical solutions to solve such issues.
